Cajeput oil is used in Aromatherapy to treat colds, headaches, toothache, & tumors; to loosen phlegm so it can be coughed up (as an expectorant); & as a tonic.
Can also be applied to the skin for mites (scabies) or a fungal infection of the skin (tinea versicolor).
This oil has a similar scent to eucalyptus, which has a strong medicinal aroma. Both are also used typically for antiseptic & analgesic purposes.
